Does the 360 Elite come with a data tran ...

Just wondering because Im prolly picking up an elite and wanted to know if Im gonna have to call up MS to get one of these thingsDoes the 360 Elite come with a data tran ...

Thats pretty lame considering the 120 gb seperately comes with one. So in the meantime, would I be able to connect my 20gb hdd to the new elite, and use it, then transfer the data when the cable comes? or will that screw with the licenses for the arcade games and such

As long as you're connected to the internet you shouldn't have any problem with licenses, but there are work-arounds for that if you are having difficulty. Searching the Xbox.com FAQs should provide the steps.

Because Im a dedicated xbox360 customer and knowing MS I wont get the transfer cable in the mail for a month. Yes I know im whining I apologize. And not everyone buying a 120 GB HDD is upgrading either but they package it with those. At least they should sell it in stores for a low price.... I dont even technically need to upgrade, but this 360 is almost 4 years old now, and its doing funky things. Ill be real pissed if it craps the bed the day some of these big games come out.
You MUST call up microsoft to get them now unless you got one out of a 120GB HD. They also now charge $12 for them. I had to buy one for my 60GB HD upgrade.
When I got a refurbished 360 back from Microsoft because my first 360 got RROD, I had to spend an entire evening re-downloading everything from the Marketplace (including about 300 songs for my Rock Band games). Then I had to go online and enter the serial numbers to transfer the ownership rights to be able to play the stuff on the new hard drive.I guess it is a process that needs to be, but it was annoying. I'm not looking forward to doing it again if I have to do that when I buy the Elite.
