I think I am getting ODST today.

My good friend is the sales manager at Best Buy. they got their shipment in and I think I can convince him to dell early.I think I am getting ODST today.

dude, I highly doubt you can convince a manager at best buy to do that for you. If anybody ever figured out about that, the guy would lose his job for sure

wow. good luck getting it, though. besides gaes come out to the stores a few weeks before they go on sale. I saw Fallout 3 behind the desks at Gamestop a week or so before release.
yaehapparently a a few copys were already sold in france but i dont know wht thewy are gonna still release it in a month when they are already finished or almost done with production.

I question this quote greatly, and think it might be taken out of context. I can see them going after the stores who sold it, but it is not the consumers fault. Illegitimately, in this case, sounds to me like pirated. Many other games have broken their street dates, and I've yet to hear of anyone getting banned for playing them online ahead of time.

All I am trying to say with the link I provided is that it has already gone gold as retailers in France has been selling off the street date. I know that it being sold in france does not necessarily imply it is already at NA retailers....EXCEPT.....my sales manager here at Best Buy said he received his shipment yesterday.I will let you guys know if I get it this afternoon. either way it was just a topic to outline the product is already at retailers.On another note, it is funny that retailers are already starting to get it and the release date is sept 22. I am guessing this date either aligns with something significant for the company (previous release dates) or not all retailers have it yet and they cannot gaurantee that until the 22nd of Sept.Either way, just for kicks and giggles I will let everyone know whether I can get a copy. I will see if he lets me take a picture of the retail copy if he cannot sell to me.
