Note: There isn't really a point to thisI'm a huge spots fan. I love to watch baseball and football in particular. 2005 was a great year for baseball and football games. NFL 2K5 was a great football game, that in my opinion, is better (considering when it was made) then any Madden game. And MVP Baseball 2005. WOW. That was just an amazing game. I love ever minute I ever played of it. The worst part about these games was the fact that I would have to pay $100 a year for them both. But then EA Sports signed an exclusive liceanse with the NFL prohibiting 2K from making football games. In response, 2K signed a deal with MLB so EA can't make games. Now we the gamers are stuck with what I think are the inferior games for each sport. I just think its really bad luck and I wish that it was the other way around. Thanks for readingWhy??
those were pretty much a big UP YOURS to the consumer, monopolies tend to increase salesWhy??
Why?
because...
competition pushed EA and 2k to advance the games each year. we see in Madden how they adopted the use of 2ks kicking mechanics, double teaming options on the fly and half time presentation....etc. who kows what else 2k would have come up with. The NFL Blitz games were also awesome before the monopoly.
