who exactly is going to buy that?
250GB on a console is a little bit of an overkill if you ask me

There are many a PS3 owners with a Terabyte

I think it depends in the gamer. If he puts a bunch of videos, his music collection, some BC stuff, XBL games, and HDD installed games it might fill up fast. I've heard of PS3 owners filling up past that. On topic, sounds like a good bundle but they need to put a wifi adapter in there. That would really help sales and it cost them less than $3 I'm guessing.
You can never have enough of HDDspace :)
^True, isnt the only way to keep your 360 from exploding is to install a number of your games, and with games on demand, people could use the extra space. I thnk more 360 owners would have huge hdd like PS3 owners if it weren't for the fact that MS robs people for thier brand hdd and makes it a hassle.
Just imagine this, it's 5-6 years from now,
you have like, 20 games over on XBLA,
and probably tripled your music, video, AND picture collections.
You really think these GBs aren't gonna add up to 250?
You can never have enough of HDDspace :)
Correct. Sooner or later, I always run out of space.
who exactly is going to buy that?
Probably quite abit of people. Especially when it is packed with two controllers.
Another fail for MS. The PS3 gets it right by using standard hdds, whatever size you want.
I doubt this rumor, MS is cutting the Pro out of their line to reduce the number of SKUs on the store shelves, and make it easier for the consumer. Why, just after doing that would they add a 3rd SKU again? Makes no sense on their part.
To go up against GT5 probably.
Forza 3 bundled + bigger HDD than PS3 is a good selling point.

They cut out the pro so they can do this 250 gb Xbox 360 and have more profit , if they cutted out the arcade it woul'd been better.
I think the reason they are doing this is so people can fit more ''games on demand'' games on their HDD. From reading the forums, a lot of people won't buy them because they can't fit very many on their HDD.

Lol. I can live pretty good with my 60gb, just install and uninstall what you currently play. But the news are sweet, no doubt.
I don't know if I believe that but wow would that be awsome
Ifanyonedoesn't realize that digital downloads are the future, thenthey haven't been paying attention. I suspect physical copies of all entertainment material to be obsolete soon enough. I would love to have a huge hard drive... and once I do, I will try to buy all of my games digitally. I don't have to get off my couch to switch games? I'm gonna love it.List of already purchaseable entertainment:Comic book subscriptions
Collectible card games to be played online
Books/Novels
Music
Movies?? (I know you can rent them digitally)Can full digital copies of movies be purchased over the net yet? I haven't looked into it. I bet by the time my 2 year old is in his 20's, I'm pretty sure physical media will be phasing out. No need for any type of DVD players or CD players, or their media. Your vehicle will have a digital player that can connect wirelessly to your PC or whatever entertainment hub will be in the future, which will have a huge harddrive full of your movies, music, and pictures. Can you imagine? This will cut down on so many raw materials used in the world, but it will also cut out a TON of jobs. No shipping necessary, no packaging materials, no middle man (store) to sell the product... It's crazy to think about it but it is going to be that way at some point in our lives. I don't ever see books not being produced... there is a huge difference between reading a physical book than reading off of a screen or a tablet.Anyways... I'm looking forward to it.
I thought the 120GB was too big for me %26 went with the 60GB which I've not even came close to surpassing even with 5 or 6 games installed. Very few people would actually ulitilize such a large HD.
