Would you buy Microsofts next console?

I am just curious to know how many people out there would be willing to buy Microsofts next console given its high failure rate for the Xbox 360. I truely love the 360 and its vast library of games which is why I am reluctantly on my 3rd console. I have invested my time and money into over 40 games, numerous controllers and other perirpherals so it would be hard for me to walk away so to speak.I just hope Microsoft has learned a valuable lesson from the RROD incident and will produce a superior piece of hardware in the next gen. I can guarentee you right now, that I will most likely buy another next gen Microsoft system but it might be my very last if there is even the slightest problem. I believe a system that costs the consumer $500 big ones on launch should be able to withstand 3 decent years of use at least. So I urge everyone out there who owns a 360 or might consider buying one to share your thoughts on this matter and send a strong message to Microsoft that during the next console run we wont be so forgiving to technical failures. Maybe next time the real RROD might be the sound of Microsofts stockmarket and console business plumetting to its doom.You got the software right this gen, now get the hardware right on thenext.Would you buy Microsofts next console?

not likely. I would wait for reports on how the console holds up( in terms of hardware reliability).
I can't imagine Microsoft would be careless as to make the same colossal mistake twice, but if the next xbox has the same problems I'm not sure I'd be willing to put up with it again. I mean, I love Halo and all but sheesh. And of course what matter most is the game though. I always wait a year or two before snatching a new game console so that I'll have some games to play on it.
I don't think MS will allow the next xbox to have similar problems. they will have learned from their own mistakes and make ammends by giving us a reliable console.I find it fascinating that, despite how infamous the RROD and other issues are, that the 360 keeps selling. happy fascinating, not bad fascinating! lolI will buy it, but, as another poster said. it's gotta have the games.and arguably, this gen, there isn't another company that can match the 360 for quality titles.
If it has the same problems that the current 360 has then no I will not buy it and I will turn to another console or the pc. It will only show that Ms is more careless and greedy than they appear.
MS has taken a big hit, both in reputation, and in profits from the reliability problems of the 360. I am sure that this will make them put even more effort into ensuring the next console will be much more reliable. While they want to be no.1 in everything they do, being the most unreliable is not a title they will want to hold again
naw i see microsoft is taking a break from the console race, and sega,apple, and ea games will team up with each other haha jk. but no im waiting for the right price and games

yes and just buy a warrenty. Life is 2 short to not have what you want. im sure they learned and will make a solid console next time. So far both sony and MS have had major problems with their consoles. I like how now alot of people act like the DREs and falied disc trays didnt happen with the ps2. I went through 3 ps2s and sony never once offered to fix it for free like MS did. Nintendo is the only one that ive never had any problems with and ive owned a nes,snes,gamecube and a wii. Those things will survive nuclear war.

I probably won't be able to, considering my overall financial status. I know for sure I'll be getting Nintendo's system first, so I wouldn't beable to.I'll probably be sticking with Nintendo, considering they have some awesome exclusives.

ill wait. to see if the new console is more reliable. if not ill get a ps4 or w.e sony calls their new console.
In short, yes, at what point after its release would be the question to ask myself though.
im sure microsoft have learned alot about the mistakes had with the 360.(as sony have learned with the ps2 and it's hardware problems). I dont expect them to make the same mistake with they're next console.
