windows media center help / what do you ...

So i was able to get it setup, but once I get into the window media center on the 360, everything is super slow and it seems more complicated than it needs to be. I already can listen to music from specific folder and watch some videos with out the media center, but some video couldnt be read by the 360 so I thought I might be able to play them if I set up the media center...does anyone know if this is true?or really if anyone has experience with the media center and could tell me what it is best for that would be great. I live in Canada, dont have netflix but I saw that was one of the options in the media center menu....and recorded tv...so I really dont think i am able to use those options but I just want to make sure Im not missing outthanks in advance guyswindows media center help / what do you ...
