Fallout 3 - Elder Lyons and the Brotherh ...

So I've played for 35 hours, I'm at level 17, yet the Brotherhood of Steel still won't let me into the Citadel to train with Power Armor.The Knights at the GnR Building say I need to speak with Elder Lyons, who is ''usually in the lab''...but there's no lab in the GnR building, so I assume they mean a lab in the Citadel?But how the hell am I supposed to get inside the Citadel to talk to Elder Lyons, when I need Elder Lyons' permission to get into the Citadel?I'm stumped! you need to do more of the main quest. while doing the main quest it will lead you to inside the citadel anyways.
Talk to the intercom during that one main quest storyline?
SPOILER.. after the purifer gets attacked and you lead your group out youll head to the brotherhoods base and the door will open then, once you get inside youll meet elder lyons, hes the old guy in blue, and you can ask him right there for premission, then the guy that trains you walks around the main court yard without a helmet

You need Dr. Li to get into the Citadel. You and the scientists will walk there from the purifier as part of the story.
I'm just gonna go with these guys im just heading to rivet city to meet Dad anyways so I dont think im very far off am I?
