gears 2 mp problem

just got gears 2 a few weeks ago and finished the sp campaign. However whenever I try to search for mp games i never find one and havent played a single mp game yet. Is this because i dont have the snowblind map packs? Any help would be appreciated.gears 2 mp problem
That sounds weird. It takes a bit of time to find a MP but not so long you couldnt play. If you have all the other map packs but not the snowblind i could see where it would slow you down but idkgears 2 mp problem
You may have real issues joining/playing Gears 2 multiplayer if you have not forwarded the appropriate ports on your router. Go to www.portforward.com and just follow the directions. Also if you do not have a decent internet connection speed you will have a rough time as well. IMO when Gears 2 MP is working well it is the best multiplayer experience on 360...when it is not working well it is the most frustrating/worst experience. Hope you have fun with it.

join with your friends and it will work or u can do the port forwording
Sounds rly weird
it usually takes some time to find a match, but how long do you wait before you cancel matchmaking?
invite friends to a match. it helps in getting rid of the lag.
This happends to me a lot. I useualy turn it off, and it works the next day.
It may have something to do with your NAT settings. I remember having trouble finding matches when I first bought it. After activating DMZ it rarely takes more than 2 minutes to find a match.

Which I believe it tries to match you up based off of people in your same ping count. That's the best I can come up with. But one day it took me 20 mins to find a match...very strange (and my connecting is really good btw).

Mmm... Thats weird. I set a static IP for my xbox and it does connect to live.
