Movie billboards in xbox 360 games

I was just wondering why Microsoft has deemed it necessary to put movie ''billboards'' in xbox 360 games. Saints Row 2 has ''The Final Destination'', Skate has ''Gamer'', and Mercenaries 2 has ''9'' AND ''Gamer.'' It's the developers who put this into their game and update it. So unless MS was making all those games, don't be bashing MS without reason. For example, I was just playing BF:BC and I saw the Gamer billboards and I know EA and DICE put them up because they make the game and MS has not control over this.

And those games didn't have movie billboards back when they first came out and then after the updates the billboards were there.
Honestly, I thought it was a clever way to introduce marketing to games in a subtle way. Does anyone remember the first Hulk game on the XBOX? Where the only soda machine in the entire city seemed to be Mountain Dew? And he always seemed to throw them so they would fly in your vision on the screen? Not to mention EVERY billboard in that game had the Dew on it. So in my opinion, yay for subtlety, great way to make money without making the game look silly.
What everbody else said another game that has it is UFC 09 there live ads in the ring. Ads like that are cool though the arent intrusive and they stay up to date with the lastest movies and stuff i mean if your gonna have a billboard there why not one will real ads theres nothing wrong that.

Those ads are programmed to connect to the internet and get the lastest stuff to out on the billboards. All those games had billboards when they first came out and they can put whatever they want on them.[/QUOTE]
