I have played 20 min. so far, I usually only play for an hr at a time, does this game pick up??Thanks!!Batman
yeah, the begining is kind of a tutorial to show you the ropes, ones your in it it gets deep with the villians, i have the ps3 verison so it should be 99% the same i guess.Batman

It'll never really be action packed. If you only like action and don't like exploring and searching for things, this game might not be for you.
20 minutes is definately not long enough to guage how good a game is

It's like a MGS/Metroid, if you don't like solving riddles and back tracking then Arkham Asylum isn't your game... it's a fun game for the patient and adventure type gamers... if you want to throw batarangs all day, then this isn't for you.[/QUOTE] I disagree, I think Batman has an exceptional pacing and was obviously well rounded to suffice for impatient gamers and patient gamers alike.
It really fits for anyone. If you completely ignore everything you can just be action packed and just mash the x and y buttons in combat. Or you can play it by performing crazy combo moves and using all gadgets to your advantage in predator parts and unlocks some cool goodies by taking the side route. Your choice. I thought it was great like watching a movie good game.
It does pick up I mean most campaigns are boring for the first 20 min.
I'd say it's a great adventure game.



You'll be able to notice how much care and thought the developers put into each area of the game when you acquire upgrades that reveal all of the little extras on the map. Easily the best aspect of Arkham Asylum is the sneaking and picking off of the baddies.
