I know its an old game but...

are any of you out there playing Phantasy Star Universe? I plyed it when it first came out a few years ago and as a fan of PSO from the Dreamcast/GC/XBOX days I was torn on PSU. I recently rented it and actually kind of enjoyed it. The only thing that bothers me is that there seems to be only one server going and even that one isn't overly populated most of the time. Is PSU a dead game with a shrinking community or are there simply better games of that nature to play now? Oh and please dont compare games like Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Fable 2 or the like to PSU. They are not alike at all. PSU is about dungeon/area clearing, gaining exp and finding new loot. Hopefully new games like Boarderlands and Dragon Age Origins will satisfy my cravings for a game of this nature as it seems PSU is all but done for.I know its an old game but...
I think Borderlands is going to be a lot better than PSU, but I understand where you're coming from. I love large-scale Co-Op and dungeon crawling/loot getting. No matter how old the formula is, it's always addictive.

Well, they might not be quite the same thing, but the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games are dungeon crawler/beat-em-ups. I don't know if the game has any massive areas to explore though, most of what I have seen are small or average areas. Maybe the sequel will fix that.
Ugh, I absolutely loved Phantasy Star Online. Universe was a little disappointing... :cry:

Monster Hunter is about as close as it gets to PSO. I'm hoping that Lost Planet 2 will be very similar to Monster Hunter. The demo sure seemed that way.
